The Summer Sunset Dinner was fabulous. Food was delicious, service was prompt, and the sunsets were gorgeous!

We heard great reviews for the Pine Marten lodge. We just went there tonight for dinner. The ski lift ride up and back was great! The views were spectacular. There's a lot of wasted table area in the lodge. The only tables used were right out at the windows. I thought that's great. That is until we got our table. My wife had a nice view of the mountains. Unfortunately, I had the view of the wall. The table directly next to us vacated less than 5 minutes after we were seated. That table had a great view from all 4 seats. Then when no one was seated there the rest of the night, I was very angry. I was going to ask if we could move there, but I assumed there was another party going to sit there. $65 for the view of a wall!....... I did mention the view I had to the waitress, she didn't offer to move us. In fact her and 2-3 other waiters decided it was more important for them to go outside at sunset and take pictures, instead of serving the customers. The food was good. Not great, just good. My wife's chicken main dish didn't taste very good. Portions were small, but presented nicely. For me, I would rather have more quantity and less show. Attached is the view I had. Pretty impressive for $65! We may go back to ride mountain bikes, but highly doubt we will be back for the "Sunset Dinner" I guess it will be the 20th wedding anniversary we will remember forever!

I've only been to about 7 lodges and this is my favorite one so far because of the food and drinks selection.
Lots of different food to choose from and the bar seemed to have been fully stocked. The husband and I opened for specialty cocktails.
The ramps are wide, bathrooms clean, lots of open space. The view of the mountain while relaxing here is beautiful. No complaints. -

I come here for the MTB riding all the time and enjoy every aspect. They're building a new trail that's opening next season and I'm super excited. People are always happy and helpful and act like they want to be there. Pine Marten and Bachelor are always good times and I'll continue to spend as much time as possible there.

I'm writing a 5 star review for my experience last year. The bar at the base had the best French fries I have ever had in my life. My compliments to the chef, cooked to perfection. Moreover, the style of the fry was the perfect cut and style. Every time I ate fries I thought back to the fries I ate at Bachelor. Now that I've returned today, I came back to fries only slightly better than joes-joes. Perfectly cooked for what they were though! Please return to the old fries.
